Autumn Ghost

It had been so long since the white mare had been touched by a human being. The feel of human fingers through her mane and coat were now just a distant memory lost to the claws of constant war. She shook her head forcing back the horrible memories of her rider being crushed beneath her and the sound of the other horses screaming as she ran.
Thats all shes done for years......run. Run as fast as her legs could take her , far far away from that horrible place. Memories still haunted her of the night when all she'd learned to love was ripped away from her. She wished she could save them but she had been told to run. The mare sighed heavily staring off toward the ocean as autumn leaves danced around her head and the chiller breeze brushed through the petals of her spider lilies.

Val wandered aimlessly through the forests of BCRS not bothering to pay attention to anything around her. None of the horses seemed to care for the Jian goddess as the goddess didnt much care for them either. Autumn had begun to set in turning the forests rich and vibrant with reds and golds.
something cut through the brush tossing fallen leaves in it's wake making the winged goddess turn to look. Val's eyes met deep blue eyes that watched her curiously. She cocked her head and watched as the mare lowered her head slowly and stared.
"So....what brings you here?" The goddess asked out of boredom. "You dont look like you belong here."
The mare sighed and turned away looking slightly hurt. Val took the chance and brushed her fingers over the mare's back side making her flinch and turn to gawk at her.
"You lost everyone you loved too didnt you......" She asked softly touching one of the 4 spider lilies set into the animal's mane. "You arent alone..... i lost my one as well." She sighed resting her head against the mare's pure white neck. "Someone i will never get back...."

This took forever!!! Holy crimeny!!! There was a ton of effort in this endless hours of shading and those blooy leaves bout near killed me! This is my labor of love and i really really hope i get her. This picture got me attached to her <3
